Healthy teeth, naturally
Good dental hygiene is vital for our body. It allows us not
only to prevent various inconveniences but also to keep a nice smile. We tell
you more about the different natural remedies to take care of your teeth.
Choosing the right toothpaste
A large number of toothpaste are composed of chemical
elements that can be quite aggressive for the teeth, especially if they are
sensitive. This prevails above all for whitening toothpastes which are
considered more abrasive for your teeth.
We swap this type of product for an organic and natural
toothpaste, which will allow you just as much (if not more) to keep fresh
breath and healthy teeth.
Prioritize natural ingredients
By relying on natural remedies, your teeth are less exposed
to the risk of infection and side effects that can be generated by chemicals.
But it goes without saying, the advice of a dentist is always recommended in
case of pain or poor dental hygiene!
So what are these miracle ingredients for our quotes?
Bicarbonate, a whitening ally
Bicarbonate is indeed a 100% natural method which gradually
acts on the whiteness of our teeth. To do this, you just need to mix a little
baking soda (without overdoing it) with a drop or two of water, until you
obtain a thick paste. You will then use it as toothpaste, taking care to rinse
well with clean water afterwards. Certainly, the taste is not the most pleasant
but the game is worth the candle!
Clove: it soothes our teeth like never before
Clove is unquestionably THE star of our little dental ailments. This is due to its soothing properties, which reduce pain. You can choose to use it in its natural form or as an essential oil.
If you opt for the first option, nothing could be simpler:
place a clove on your tooth, where the painful area is. Squeeze your jaw tight
and let the magic do its thing. Note that you can complete this solution with
homemade mouthwash by infusing a few cloves in water.
The clove essential oil option is also very easy: apply a
few drops to your tooth and the job is done.
Thyme, a natural anti-healing remedy
Thyme has the effect of protecting the teeth and gums and, therefore, it can be a supplement to help prevent tooth loss. With this in mind, take some thyme roots and mix them with water to concoct a delicious mouthwash. Two birds with one stone, your breath will only be fresher!
Exit tartar: we put on sesame or coconut oil!
Tartar is manifested by nasty yellow stains encrusting our
teeth, which is not ideal for displaying a bright smile. It may be due to a
diet that is too acidic or contains bad fats, as well as excessive consumption
of coffee, tobacco or black tea.
To overcome the undesirable effects of tartar, vegetable oil
has no equal, in particular coconut and sesame vegetable oil. In two or three
movements, put a spoonful of oil in your mouth and make sure that the liquid
comes between your teeth using your tongue. Perform this action for 5 to 10
minutes, taking care not to swallow the mixture, which you will spit out at the
end. Brush your teeth afterwards and voila! Repeat the exercise once or twice a
week.
In short, there are many natural methods to take care of
your teeth without attacking them, and without breaking the wallet at the same
time!
